San Diego State vs Yale Betting Prediction
Yale trailed by double digits in the second half against Auburn, but they were able to comeback and hang on for the win, despite allowing Auburn to have multiple chances to tie or win the game late. The Bulldogs also erased a big second half deficit against Brown in the Ivy League Championship, so you can never count them out. San Diego State nearly allowed a decent lead to slip away against UAB in their first round game, but they are very solid on both ends of the court. Both teams are allowing about 66 points against per game on defense, so we could see a lower scoring game here. Despite their upset win, I don’t love this Yale team. I think they were very fortunate that Auburn had one of their key players ejected early and missed quite a few free throws down the stretch. San Diego State has the experience from their deep run last season and I like them to pull away in the second half here.
