UNLV has been led by their defense which comes into this game ranked t-94th in scoring defense & 56th in defensive FG%, however, the offense has struggled a bit in terms of shooting percentage as the Rebels rank just 285th in FG% & 278th in 3P-FG%. San Jose State has a solid three-point shooting as the Spartans rank t-18th in three-pointers made per game & 22nd in 3P-FG%, however, San Jose State ranks just 232nd in scoring offense and have had issues defensively, ranking just t-207th in scoring defense & 238th in defensive FG%.
San Jose State has been decent at home for the most part, however, most of those wins have come against inferior competition. San Jose State has lost their last two games to Santa Clara & Colorado State by a combined 58 points and as I think the UNLV defense will be able to give San Jose State trouble in this one, I’m taking UNLV to cover this mid-range road spread. Good Luck!
