The Seattle U Redhawks finished their regular season with an overall record of 23-8 and earned the 2-seed in the WAC Tournament after finishing conference play with a 14-4 record. Seattle U finished their non-conference portion of their schedule with a 9-4 record with their best win coming against Morgan State. Seattle U lost both matchups against the top-seed New Mexico State Aggies, however, the Redhawks were solid overall throughout the season and come into the WAC Tournament winning 6 of their last 8 games.

Seattle U was able to defeat Abilene Christian in their only regular season matchup as the Redhawks defeated the Wildcats by a 72-62 margin at home in late January.

Seattle U has been solid on both ends of the court this season as the Redhawks come into this matchup ranked 83rd in scoring offense, 92nd in scoring defense, & 36th in defensive FG%, however, the Redhawks can struggle at times shooting the ball as they come into this matchup ranked just 294th in FG% & 183rd in 3P-FG%. Abilene Christian has also been solid on both ends of the court, ranking 44th in scoring offense & 90th in scoring defense and have been great in terms of creating turnovers as the Wildcats rank 1st in steals per game & 1st in turnover margin. Abilene Chrisitan has one of the better defenses in the counrty and as Seattle U just isn’t the same team when they are not on their home court, I think Abilene Chrsitan does enough to cover this small spread. Good Luck!
