The Grand Canyon Antelopes and the Seattle Redhawks meet in college basketball action on Saturday night.
The Grand Canyon Antelopes will look to avenge their loss to Seattle from their last matchup after a 63-57 win by Seattle last time out. Asbjorn Midtgaard lead the Antelopes in scoring and rebounding with a double-double per game including 14.6 PPG and 10.3 RPG while Alessandro Lever has 13.7 PPG with 5.1 RPG and Jovan Blacksher Jr. has 11.2 PPG with a team-high 5.3 APG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Grand Canyon up to this point in the year. As a team, Grand Canyon is averaging 76.2 PPG on 49.9% shooting from the field and 32.3% from 3-point range while allowing 61.6 PPG on 37.7% shooting from the field and 29.1% from 3-point range this season.
The Seattle Redhawks will try to sweep the double-header after their win over the Antelopes last time out. Anyone who has followed me knows that Grand Canyon has been one of my favorite bets this season just because of how consistent the Antelopes have been against the number. No disrespect to Seattle as the REdhawks play some solid defense, but I just think that Grand Canyon is the better team here so I’ll lay it and play it with GCU on the road here.
