The Grand Canyon Antelopes and the Seattle Redhawks meet Saturday in college basketball action from Connolly Center. Grand Canyon is sitting at 16-8 so far this year. The Antelopes posted a win over New Mexico State in their last game. As for Seattle, they’re 17-8 on the season following a win over Utah Tech on Wednesday. Grand Canyon Antelopes
Grand Canyon managed a pretty solid start to the year, going 11-5 over their first 16 games. The Antelopes are 5-3 since then with wins over TX-Arlington, Utah Tech, Abilene Christian, Stephen F. Austin and New Mexico State in that time.
In their Wednesday matchup versus New Mexico State, the Antelopes jumped out to a 41-25 lead by the break. Grand Canyon cruised on another 37 points from there in a 78-67 win. Rayshon Harrison led the team on 18 points and five assists.
Seattle Redhawks
Over on the Seattle side, they posted a 14-4 stretch over their first 18 outings of the season. The Redhawks have scene gone a sketchy 3-4 however, falling to Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian and New Mexico State along the way.
On Wednesday versus Utah Tech, Seattle held a 41-38 edge going into the second half. The Redhawks hit a 34-33 advantage from there and won it 75-71. Cameron Tyson led the team with 24 points and two rebounds.

I was going to take Seattle in this one, but it’s a slim enough line to stick with Grand Canyon. Probably not touching it, though. The Redhawks have had it rough lately on this 1-4 stretch, but it’s worth noting that three of those losses came on the road. Seattle has also scored 65 or more points in four straight outings and should put up a pretty decent total here as well. As for the Antelopes, they’re on a nice 3-1 run right now, scoring 75 or more points in all three wins. Seattle is probably going to have to step on the gas offensively in order to keep up, which is why I don’t think they’ll quite get there in an Antelopes victory.
