Siena vs Delaware College Basketball Picks, Odds, Predictions 11/13/2021

The Delaware Blue Hens and the Siena Saints meet in college basketball action from Times Union Center on Saturday night.

The Delaware Blue Hens will be looking to bounce back from a 93-71 loss at the hands of Davidson last time out. Dylan Painter led the Blue Hens with 17 points on 4 of 6 shooting with a 9 of 10 mark from the foul line as well as a team-high 6 rebounds while Jameer Nelson Jr. and Kevin Anderson each had 11 points to finish off the trio of double-digit scorers for Delaware in the loss. Nelson Jr. had 6 rebounds and 3 assists of his own while Anderson shot 4 of 6 with a pair of threes. The Siena Saints will be out to bounce back from a 75-47 loss to St. Bonaventure in their season opener. Aidan Carpenter and Jayce Johnson each had 10 points with Carpenter shot 4 of 9 from the field as the lone pair of double-digit scorers for the Saints in the loss. Jackson Stormo and Michael Baer each had a team-high 6 rebounds with Baer logging 3 steals as well in the loss. As a team, Siena shot 34% from the field, 30.4% from three and 60% from the foul line in the osing effort.

Delaware is 1-7 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400. This is an interesting matchup between two teams that took losses in games where they were clearly overmatched. Delaware had more success offensively, and I just don’t know how to trust Siena right now. I think Delaware finds a way to get the job done, even on the road.
