The Bradley Braves and the Southern Illinois Salukis meet in college basketball action from the Banterra Center on Tuesday night.

The Bradley Braves will look to add to their current three-game win streak after a 68-59 win over Drake last time out. Terry Roberts leads the Braves in scoring and assists with 15.1 PPG and 4.3 APG while Ja’Shon Henry has 10.4 PPG with 4.9 RPG. Rienk Mast also leads the Braves in rebounding with 11.3 PPG along with 8.4 RPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Bradley so far this season while Malevy Lyons has 9.9 PPG and 6 RPG this season. As a team, Bradley is averaging 71.5 PPG on 44.9% shooting from the field, 35% from three and 67.7% from the foul line while allowing 64.9 PPG on 39.4% shooting from the field and 31.6% from three this season.

The Southern Illinois Salukis will attempt to build on a 69-62 win over Evansville in their last game. Lance Jones leads SIU in scoring with 14.5 PPG while Marcus Domask has 14.1 PPG with team-highs of 5.3 RPG and 4 APG and Ben Coupet Jr. has 10.1 PPG with 4.5 RPG to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Southern Illinois so far this season. As a team, Southern Illinois is averaging 63.2 PPG on 43.9% shooting from the field, 34.9% from three and 68.9% from the foul line while allowing 60.7 PPG on 43.7% shooting from the field and 31.3% from three this season.

Bradley is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a win while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall. Southern Illinois is 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games while the under is 14-5 in their last 19 home games.

I get the case to be made for SIU at home here, but the issue is that the Braves have been the far better team and the far hotter team especially ATS. I know home court usually means something in conference play, but this is a bit of a mismatch that home court can’t compensate for. Give me the Braves in this one.
