The St. Bonaventure Bonnies punched their ticket to the second round as the 7-seed, entering the conference tournament with an overall record of 18-12, including a 9-9 mark in A-10 conference play. Chad Venning leads the Bonnies in scoring with 14 PPG along with 5 RPG while Mika Adams-Woods has 13 PPG with 2.3 RPG and a team-high 3.6 APG on the year. Charles Pride has 11 PPG with a team-high 5.7 RPG to lead the Bonnies on the glass and to finish off the group of double-digit scorers for the Bonnies so far this season. Moses Flowers also has 9.9 PPG as well for the Bonnies this season. As a team, St. Bonaventure is averaging 73.8 PPG on 46.1% shooting from the field, 37.3% from three and 76.9% from the foul line this season.

I’m on the Bonnies here. La Salle’s win over GW was nice, but I didn’t love how the Explorers struggled to get by the worst defense in the A-10. St. Bonaventure’s well-rounded and I think they can do enough to bag a win and cover and move on to the next round. Give me St. Bonaventure here.
