The Hartford Hawks and the St. Francis BK Terriers meet in college basketball action from the Pope Athletic Complex on Tuesday night.

The Hartford Hawks will look to snap a seven-game losing skid after a 78-71 loss to Sacred Heart last time out. Briggs McClain leads the Hawks in scoring with 15.7 PPG along with 3.3 RPG as the lone double-digit scorer for Hartford so far this season. Kurtis Henderson has 9.9 PPG while Pano Pavlidis has a team-high 6 RPG to lead the Hawks on the glass and Michael Dunne has a team-high 2.5 APG to lead the Hawks in the assist department this season. As a team, Hartford is averaging 63.4 PPG on 41.6% shooting from the field, 31.5% from three and 68.4% from the foul line this season.

The St. Francis BK Terriers will try to snap a three-game losing streak after their 65-53 loss to Merrimack last time out. Rob Higgins has a team-high 11.4 PPG and 3.8 APG to lead the Terriers in scoring and assists this season while Larry Moreno has 10.4 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for the Terriers so far this season. Josiah Harris also has a team-high 8.2 RPG to lead the Terriers in rebounding this season. As a team, St. Francis is averaging 63.7 PPG on 39.4% shooting from the field, 30.6% from three and 71.8% from the foul line this season.

Hartford is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games against a team with a winning home record while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games overall. St. Francis BK is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 home games.

I’ll give Hartford some credit for battling hard before knowing that this team is going to drop down to D-III next year, but the problem is that their travels haven’t gone well this season as they’re 0-6 SU and have been a similar disaster ATS as well. The Terriers aren’t a world better, but they’re good enough here and there’s enough of a gap between the two that I think the Terriers get themselves a win and cover here.
