The Baylor Bears are 3-1 this season after they defeated Tarleton State by a score of 104-41 in their last game. Baylor led 56-13 at halftime and they were able to cruise to the easy win. Why St. John’s will beat Baylor

  • St. John’s has won 17 of its last 18 night games against non-conference opponents.
  • Baylor has lost three of its last four games against AP-ranked opponents at a neutral venue.
  • St. John’s has won the first half in 14 of its last 16 games.

St. John’s vs Baylor Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup ranked in the top 25 and we should be in for a great game here. Baylor’s only loss of the season came against Gonzaga in their season opener, but they have dominated their last two opponents. St. John’s is undefeated on the season, with their best win coming by 14 points over New Mexico last time out. The Red Storm are shooting nearly 50% from the field and they have been very good at rebounding. I know Baylor is the higher-ranked team, but I like what I see from St. John’s and I think they have a chance to win this game outright. Take the Red Storm here.
