St. Thomas (MN) vs Wisconsin-Green Bay 12/13/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Green Bay Phoenix and the St. Thomas MN Tommies meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Schoenecker Arena. Green Bay is 2-8 overall this year. The Phoenix are coming off a win over UMKC. As for St. Thomas, they’re 8-4 on the season and fresh off a win over Idaho State. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Green Bay lost their first seven games of the year to Indiana State, Georgetown, Wisconsin, Queens NC, Utah Valley, UIC and Milwaukee before a win over IUPUI. The Phoenix would then lose to Loyola in game nine. 

On Saturday versus UMKC, the Phoenix got back into the win column. Green Bay was down 30-27 at the break but stormed back with a 43-34 run for the 70-64 win. Cade Meyer was the leading scorer on 25 points and seven rebounds.

Over on the St. Thomas side, they went 2-2 over their first four games. The Tommies would then beat Troy, Merrimack and Milwaukee before a loss to Utah. St. Thomas went 3-1 over their next four with a lone loss to Montana State. 

In their Saturday matchup versus Idaho State, St. Thomas MN scored 38 points in each half on the way to a 76-70 win. Both Andrew Rohde and Riley Miller scored 19 points apiece, combining for seven assists as well. 

PICK: I’m going to try St. Thomas in this one. The Tommies took care of business against a struggling Idaho State team in their last outing. St. Thomas has been playing well over this 3-1 run; they’ve hit 76 or more points in all three victories. As for Green Bay, they’re scoring better lately with 67 or more points in three of their last four games. The Phoenix should provide a bit of a challenge here if they’re on point, but I don’t think they’ll cover.
