The Rider Broncs and the Stetson Hatters meet in college basketball action from the National Basketball Arena on Friday.

Luke Brown leads the Hatters in scoring with 23.5 PPG along with 4 RPG and 3 APG while Stephan Sweson and Alvin Tumblin each have 11.5 PPG with Swenson logging a team-high 5 APG and Cyncier Harrison has 11 PPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for Stetson up to this point in the season. As a team, Stetson is averaging 75.5 PPG on 46.4% shooting from the field, 37.1% from three and 75% from the foul line this season.

I get the reasoning for backing either side here and the wrinkle of playing overseas throws a bit of a wrench into things. However, there’s no denying how good both teams have looked but I give extra brownie points to Stetson, who’s managed to beat USF and Florida State in back-to-back games. Not a game I’m rushing to bet, but I like the free bucket with Stetson.
