Terry Collins leads the Delta Devils in scoring, rebounding and assists with 15.2 PPG, 4.8 RPG and 1.8 APG while Rayquan Brown has 11 PPG with 9.5 RPG after his first two games of the season. The TCU Horned Frogs will be out to build on an 83-75 win over SMU last time out. Mike Miles Jr. has 18.2 PPG along with 3.7 RPG and 3 APG. Emanuel Miller has 12.3 PPG with 5.3 RPG. Micah Peavy has 10.1 PPG and Damion Baugh has 11.3 PPG and 5.7 RPG this season to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for TCU so far this season. Mississippi Valley State is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games while the under is 4-0-1 in their last 5 games following an ATS win. TCU is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-21 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400.
I get the reasoning for TCU being a massive favorite at home here, but don’t look now, the Delta Devils have covered 7 of their last 9 games and a lot of it has to do with getting ridiculous numbers like they’re getting here. TCU is the better team without question, but they almost lost to Northwestern State as 21.5-point favorites this season and haven’t covered either time they were laying 35 points to start the year. I’ll actually take the points with Mississippi Valley State here.
