The SMU Mustangs and the Temple Owls meet in college basketball action from the Liacouras Center on Wednesday night.
The SMU Mustangs will look to add to back-to-back wins after an 80-66 win over East Carolina last time out. I get the case to be made either way here, but I’m leaning towards Temple in this one. SMU is hot right now, winning 7 of 8 including the first meeting with Temple, but the Owls have been a tough nut to crack at home, with wins over Tulsa, Cincinnati, East Carolina and only losing to Houston by 5 points. I think this is simply a game that’s closer than the line indicates, so give me the Owls and the points in this one.
