The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 6-7 on the season after being defeated by the Memphis Tigers, 67-64, on January 4th. Temple has been led by their defense which ranks t-121st in scoring defense & 70th in defensive FG%, however, the Owls have struggled at times on the offensive end as they come into this matchup ranked just 276th in scoring offense, 305th in FG%, & 322nd in 3P-FG%. Tulsa has also been led by their defense which ranks 144th in scoring defense & 22nd in turnover margin, however, like Temple, the Golden Hurricane can struggle putting points up on the board as they currently rank just 260th in scoring offense.
Temple is a solid team, however, they are battling plenty of injuries and just haven’t had any success at Tulsa over the past few years. Tulsa looked solid in the 2nd half at Memphis and as I think their defense gives the owls some trouble in this one, I think Tulsa does enough to cover this small spread. Good Luck!
