CSU Bakersfield managed a 5-5 run over their first 10 games this year, then weren’t able to play from December 30 to January 15. The Roadrunners have been on a 1-9 stretch since then, losing most recently to UC Riverside.

On Thursday versus UC Riverside, the Roadrunners trailed 25-36 at the break. CSU Bakersfield got better from there but still lost 79-69. Leading team scorer Justin McCall finished on 25 points with nine rebounds and one steal.

Over on the UC Davis side, they hit a 6-4 run in their first 10 games. The Aggies have been able to play just seven games since December 22 due to several postponements and cancelations. UC Davis’ last game was February 5 in a victory versus Hawaii.

In the Hawaii matchup, the Aggies were tied at 29 by halftime. UC Davis outscored the Warriors 39-36 from there in a nice 68-65 victory. Ezra Manon was the team’s leading scorer on 20 points and five rebounds during the win.

The Aggies are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five at home and 13-6-3 ATS in their last 22 Saturday games. The under is 5-0 in UC Davis’ last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Roadrunners are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games and 0-5 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss. CSUB is 10-25-1 ATS in their last 36 Saturday games.

PICK: I’m going to try UC Davis in this one, but probably not going near it. The Aggies have been out of action for a couple of weeks and it’s tough telling what they’ll look like when they get back on the court. That said, UC Davis beat a tricky Hawaii team in their last outing and they’ve been decent against comparable teams when they can actually get onto the court. This one’s a dice-roll game and probably one to stay away from, though.
