The Boston University Terriers and the UConn Huskies meet in college basketball action from the Harry Gampel Pavilion on Friday.

The Boston University Terriers will look to build on their 72-63 win over Northeastern in their last game. Walter Whyte led the Terriers with 27 points on 10 of 16 shooting with 6 threes as well as a team-high 13 rebounds for the double-double while Jonas Harper added 15 points and 4 assists as the only other double-digit scorer for Boston U in the win. Miles Brewster had a team-high 6 assists as well in the winning effort.

The UConn Huskies will try to build on their 85-54 win over Stonehill in their last game. Adama Sanogo led the huskies with 19 points on 8 of 11 shooting with 6 rebounds while Alex Karaban had 13 points. Hassan Diarra added 11 points to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for UConn in the win while Donovan Clingan added a team-high 7 rebounds and Nahiem Alleyne added 4 steals.

Boston University is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win while the over is 13-3 in their last 16 games overall. UConn is 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a win and 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall.

I get the case to be made either way in this game, I just don’t think I can get there with Boston University. The Huskies are just the far better team and I think this is one of those games where you see the disparity of conference and the recruits/transfers that come with the gap. Give me UConn here.
