Matched up against Maine on Saturday, the Danes posted a 34-29 lead going into the break. Albany was outscored 43-34 from there and lost 72-68. Jonathan Beagle led the team with 16 points and six rebounds.

In the New Hampshire game last weekend, the River Hawks jumped out to a 37-30 lead going into the second half. UMass Lowell was outscored 39-28 from there and lost it 69-65. Allin Blunt was the top scorer on 17 points and seven boards.
ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stick with UMass Lowell in this one. Also probably not touching it, though. The River Hawks had a bad second half against a mediocre New Hampshire team in their last outing, and haven’t been very consistent lately. The last time these teams met up back on January 8 at McDonough Sports Complex, UMass Lowell suffered an 89-63 defeat and struggled the whole way. This is a prime opportunity for the River Hawks to get some revenge and get back on track; we’ll see if they can pull it off.
