The Air Force Falcons will play the UNLV Rebels in a Mountain West game on Tuesday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Air Force has lost eight games in a row, while UNLV has alternated wins and losses over their last six games. Let’s take a look at the betting matchup and the Air Force vs UNLV prediction.

Air Force Preview

The Air Force Falcons are 7-10 (0-5) this season after they lost to New Mexico by a score of 85-66 in their last game. Air Force trailed 44-24 at the half, but they did score 42 points in the second half in the loss. The Falcons shot 47.2% from the field and were -8 in rebounding margin in the game. Air Force has lost eight games in a row, but they did take Colorado State to overtime two games ago. The Falcons are scoring 67.4 points per game with 30.9 rebounds per game and 15.2 assists per game, while giving up 68.7 points against per game this year. Ethan Taylor is averaging 16.6 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, and 2.9 assists per game. Air Force is shooting 45.6% from the field, 67% on free throws, and 36.3% on three pointers this season. Air Force will face Fresno State and Wyoming after this one.

UNLV Preview

The UNLV Rebels are 9-8 (2-3) this year after they lost to Colorado State by a score of 78-75 in their last game. UNLV led 39-32 at halftime, but they were out scored 46-36 in the second half for the loss. The Rebels shot 50.9% from the field and were +6 in rebounding margin in the game. UNLV defeated Boise State by a score of 68-64 in the game prior to CSU, but lost to Utah State before that. The Rebels are scoring 76.6 points per game with 33.9 rebounds per game and 15.2 assists per game, while allowing 70.1 points against per game this season. Kalib Boone is averaging 13.3 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game, and 1.7 blocks per game. UNLV is shooting 47.1% from the field, 71.1% on free throws, and 34% on three pointers this year.

Air Force vs UNLV Betting Prediction

Air Force comes into this game looking to snap their eight game losing streak, but they will be on the road against a solid UNLV team here. The Falcons are only scoring 67.4 points per game, but they did show some positive signs against Colorado State, where they lost in overtime. UNLV has played slightly inconsistent over the last couple of weeks, but their last two losses against Colorado State and Utah State came by a combined four points. The Rebels are scoring 76.6 points per game and I think they win this game easily. Air Force is coming off of home loss to New Mexico by 19 points and I expect something similar here. Take UNLV.
