UNLV Runnin’ Rebels
Over on the UNLV side, they went 11-3 over their first 14 games with losses to only San Francisco, San Jose State and San Diego State. UNLV is 1-4 in their last five outings with a win over New Mexico and four straight losses since.
On Saturday versus Fresno State, the Rebels were down 37-33 going into the second half. UNLV didn’t get any closer on a 39-30 deficit and fell 76-63. Elijah Harkless was the leading team scorer on 15 points and seven boards.

I’m going to stick with UNLV, albeit hesitantly. The Rebels are struggling against everyone during this four-game losing streak, despite hitting 66 or more points in three of those outings. UNLV has seven losses in their last nine games, but this is a winnable matchup. As for Wyoming, they’re coming off a plucky win over Colorado State but the Cowboys haven’t been playing so well lately either. UNLV is going to need to get out to a lead early in order to cover here, and I think the Rebels can do it.
