ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’m going to stick with Vanderbilt in this one. So long as the Commodores don’t suffer the proverbial big-win hangover here, that is. Vanderbilt posted a great effort against a talented Kentucky team on the road Wednesday, despite getting out-rebounded 48-35 (18-9 offensive). That makes consecutive victories for the Commodores, and they’ve scored 67 or more points in six straight outings. As for Mississippi State, they’re 3-1 in their last four and scoring pretty well themselves. I’m leaning Vanderbilt cover/win-wise, but overall I like this one to be a competitive affair and a fun game to check out.
