Why the VCU Rams will win

  • VCU has won each of its last 11 games at Stuart C. Siegel Center.
  • La Salle has lost each of its last nine Tuesday night games against the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Total Points Facts

  • Nine of VCU’s last 10 games against Conference opponents at Stuart C. Siegel Center have produced a total of 142 or fewer points.
  • Seven of La Salle’s last eight night games have produced a total of 147+ points.

VCU vs La Salle Prediction

I’m on VCU here. It’s a huge number for a conference game, I’ll admit. However, VCU is still 7-3 ATS as a home favorite this season and has laid double-digits in all of those games, posting an average margin of victory of 24.4 PPG. La Salle isn’t the worst team in the A-10, but they’re not off by much in fairness, and We’ve seen the VCU Rams take teams behind the woodshed that bring a lot more to the table than La Salle does in fairness. I just don’t see a world where La Salle ends up keeping this game close. So while the number is fairly large, I think I have to lay the wood with VCU in this spot.
