Presbyterian Blue Hose
The Hose started out the year on a nice 5-1 run with wins over Vanderbilt, Columbia International, the Citadel, North Florida and Northwestern State. Presbyterian hit a rough 2-4 run in the next six games though, falling to Tennessee Tech, Elon, Florida A&M and Kennesaw State.
Back on Tuesday versus Furman, the Blue Hose dropped another game. Presbyterian was outscored 37-26 in the first half and 39-35 in the second for a 76-61 finish. Marquis Barnett was the top team scorer with 14 points, and Jonah Pierce added 11 points with six rebounds.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Over on the Wake Forest side, they started out pretty shaky at 2-3 through their first five games. The losses in that time came versus Georgia, Utah and LSU. The Demon Deacons were able to bounce back with five straight wins after that, taking out Charleston Southern, Florida, Rutgers, NJIT and Delaware State in that time.
In the Delaware State game back on Monday, the Demon Deacons were up 42-32 going into the second half. Wake Forest hit a 46-27 run from there and took the win easily 88-59. Leading the way was Hunter Sallis with 19 points, while Andrew Carr doubled up on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Wake Forest will take on Virginia Tech, Boston College, and Miami after this one.
ANDREW’S FREE PRESBYTERIAN VS WAKE FOREST PREDICTION
I’ll probably just stay with Wake Forest here. The Demon Deacons are coming off a pretty routine win versus Delaware State, hitting 47.5 percent from the field with 36 rebounds and 15 team assists. Wake Forest has looked pretty good during this five-game win streak; they’ve hit 71 or more points in each outing and won every game by double-digits.
As for Presbyterian, they’ve had some pretty good scoring outings themselves this year but they’re also giving up quite a bit on the other side to competent teams. Wake Forest shouldn’t have too many issues scoring on Thursday, and I like them to pull off the cover.
