Ohio State Recap

The Ohio State Buckeyes come into this game looking to bounce back from a 73-71 loss to Oregon last time out to fall to 10-6 on the year. After this game, Ohio State will head home to take on Indiana.

Micah Parrish has 10.2 PPG with 4.4 RPG while Devin Royal has 13.9 PPG with a team-high 7.4 RPG to lead Ohio State on the glass and to finish off the group of double-digit scorers for Ohio State up to this point in the year. Meechie Johnson Jr.’s added 9.1 PPG with 2.5 RPG and 2.7 APG and Aaron Bradshaw’s chipped in 8 PPG and 3.7 RPG this season. As a team, Ohio State is averaging 81.1 PPG on 48.6% shooting from the field, 37.7% from three, and 72.1% from the foul line this season.

Nolan Winter has 11 PPG with 6.1 RPG to lead the Badgers in rebounding while Max Klesmit has 10.5 PPG with a team-high 3 APG to lead the Badgers in the assist department up to this point in the year. Total Points Facts

  • Each of the last 11 games between Ohio State and Wisconsin has produced a total of 146 or fewer points.
  • Each of Ohio State’s last five games against AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 150 or fewer points.

Wisconsin vs Ohio State Prediction

I’m with Wisconsin in this one. The Badgers have been slowly starting to crush it and maybe it feels a bit under the radar, but the Badgers finally have what it’s felt like this team has lacked for the better part of the last few seasons, and that’s top-tier balance on both ends of the floor. More often than not, this Badgers team would play sound fundamental, and defensive-minded basketball, but now, the offense is loading up and putting up points in bunches. Ohio State’s had its big moments here and there, but the Buckeyes also tend to leave a lot to be desired at times, especially on the road, and I think that Wisconsin takes care of business at home to snag the win and cover here.
