The VMI Keydets and the Wofford Terriers meet in SoCon college basketball action from the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on Wednesday night.
The VMI Keydets will look to bounce back from a 77-70 loss at the hands of Wake Forest in their last game. Kamdyn Curfman leads the Keydets in scoring with 18.2 PPG along with 2.9 APG while Jake Stephens has 15.9 PPG with a team-high 8.2 RPG and Sean Conway has 10 PPG with 6.8 RPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for VMI so far this season. Wofford is a team I’m very high on for much of this season, but sometimes you have to pick your spots to jump off and I think this is one of those spots. VMI has really picked up their play of late, winning two of their last three road games, covering all three as underdogs. Wofford’s a solid team that plays well at home, outscoring teams by 24.5 PPG, but they also allow teams to shoot one of the highest field goal percentages in the country. I think that could leave the door open for VMI here so give me the Keydets and the points.
