The Oregon State Beavers and the Air Force Falcons will meet Saturday in college football action from Falcon Stadium. Here’s an Air Force vs Oregon State prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Air Force vs Oregon State pick.

Oregon State Beavers Betting Preview

The Beavers were able to win four of their first five games, falling to Oregon with wins otherwise versus Idaho State, San Diego State, Purdue, and Colorado State. The next three games were all losses to Nevada, UNLV, and California, though.

Matched up against San Jose State, the Beavers gave up 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter during a 24-13 loss. Ben Gulbranson logged 292 yards with two picks, and Anthony Hankerson led the rush on 30 totes for 121 yards and a score.

Air Force Falcons Betting Preview

Over on the Air Force side, they beat Merrimack 21-6 in their opener then hit a rough losing streak. The Falcons would fall to San Jose State, Baylor, Wyoming, Navy, New Mexico, Colorado State, and Army in the next seven outings.

In Saturday’s game versus Fresno State, Air Force posted a 19-7 second-half advantage during a much-needed win 36-28. Quentin Hayes threw for just 14 yards but rushed for a pair of scores. Dylan Carson led the ground game on 33 carries for 120 yards and a TD of his own.

Air Force vs Oregon State Prediction

I’ll go with Oregon State. The Beavers need a big turnaround here, though. Oregon State was a mess in the San Jose State loss, posting three turnovers and 10 penalties for 97 yards. Otherwise, the offense wasn’t bad with 474 yards (292 passing) and 29 first downs, but coming away with only 13 points after holding the ball for 39:45 is quite the underachievement.

As for Air Force, they got by with their run game (344 yards of 358 total) in the win over Fresno State, logging 10-of-19 on third downs and 24 first downs along the way. Air Force held the ball for a whopping 45:08, which is what they’ll have to do again in order to keep the Oregon State offense off the field this weekend.
