Washington State is the better team and should be favored, but laying a touchdown on the road with a team that’s lost three straight doesn’t feel ideal. We also can’t ignore that Washington State is 118th in total defense and 102nd in scoring defense, things that usually don’t improve on the road. Yes, Arizona State has its issues, especially offensively, where you can argue they’re the worst offensive team in a Power Five conference.
