It’s not a full Friday of college football but there are still four games taking place. Let’s take a look at a couple of college football parlays to make the start of your weekend a winning one.
Syracuse +13.5 -110 / San Diego State. San Jose State under 41 -110 / Cal +13.5 -110 // $10 bet pays $59.58
This isn’t the same Clemson Tigers team as years past, and they are going to struggle again against the Syracuse Orange. Clemson has defeats at the hands of Georgia and NC State. Even against a Georgia Tech defense that isn’t all that good, Clemson could only score 14 points. It’s clear that the coaching staff doesn’t trust D.J. Uiagalelei and their lack of scoring will let them down in this game. Syracuse will keep it close and cover the spread.
San Diego State is giving up only 16.6 points per game and San Jose State is averaging only 20.5 points per game. Look for San Jose State to finish with only seven or ten points in this game, against a very good defense, and the under will cash.
The California Golden Bears might not be the better team, but they are going to be competitive in this game. Cal might not be winning games, but they have done a good job of keeping games close for the most part. The Oregon Ducks are also dealing with plenty of injuries including to running back CJ Verdell who is a key member of the offense. Kayvon Thibodeaux also won’t be able to play in the first half. I expect Oregon’s offense to struggle a bit and Cal will stay in this game.
Syracuse +13.5 -110 / Syracuse, Clemson over 45 -110 // $10 bet pays $26.45
Clemson’s offense is a big issue, but this 45 points is still way too low. Syracuse has given up over 30 points too many times, and although I don’t think they might reach that number, they will finish with right around 25 points. With Syracuse keeping this game close, the over is going to cash.
