Oregon State Beavers Betting Preview
The Beavers kicked off their season with a matchup on the road versus Houston. Oregon State was outclassed in that one 33-20 but didn’t play terribly all things considered. The Beavers had another tricky game against Texas Tech after that and fell 35-24. Game three was Oregon State’s first win, as they took a dominant 52-17 victory over a visiting Montana team.
Last weekend versus UTEP, the Beavers jumped out to an early lead with 17 first-quarter points and entered the second half up 20-0. Oregon State ended up scoring in every quarter during a 33-7 victory. QB Braden Atkinson was 24-of-34 for 301 yards, three scores and a pick. AJ Newberry carried 11 times for 111 yards and a touchdown for the Beavers.
Colorado State Rams Betting Preview
Over on the Colorado State side, they got started with a home matchup versus Wyoming in their opener. The Rams didn’t have too many issues in that one and rolled to a 35-13 win. Ditto for game two versus Southern Utah, as Colorado State took a pretty easy victory 58-24. In game three versus a visiting BYU team however, Colorado State fell 41-23 in the end.
Matched up against UTSA, the Rams got into a shootout right from the beginning. By the end of the first half Colorado State was down 35-21, scoring in every quarter (and giving up points in every quarter) during a 59-45 loss. Ksaan Farrar was 29-of-46 for 344 yards, two scores and a pick. Jayden Brown rushed 12 times for 90 yards and Durell Robinson had two rush scores.

Colorado State vs Oregon State Prediction
I’ll go with Colorado State. The Rams had a pretty nice offensive day in their high-scoring loss to UTSA but couldn’t keep up on the scoreboard. Colorado State posted 500 yards with 21 first downs but also gave up 542 yards, 239 rush yards, 7.5 yards per play and 25 first downs on the other side. The 11 penalties didn’t help the cause either.
As for Oregon State, they beat up on a struggling UTEP team with 451 yards, 7.9 yards per play and 25 first downs. The D held the Miners to just 222 yards, 3.4 yards per play and 3-of-13 on third downs. The 11 penalties for 120 yards were just about the only thing to complain about. I could see the Beavers controlling this game if they play well. It’ll be a fun one.
