This season for Boston College is going to come down to how well Thomas Castellanos plays. He played really well at times last season, and at times he didn’t even look like he deserved to be the starting quarterback. He was elite with his feet, but he needs to be more consistent with his passing.

Running back Kye Robichaux is also back after rushing for 780 yards last season. Last season, the Boston College defense was a problem and the hope is that this year will be better. Remember when there was talk about Florida State winning the National Championship this season? Now, that could still happen, but they are going to need to play a whole lot better than they did in the first game against Georgia Tech. At the end of the first quarter, Florida State was up 8-7, but the offense wasn’t that good, at least not as good as they expected, and they ended up losing 24-21.

DJ Uiagaleleli was the big transfer, but he completed only 19 of his 27 passes for 193 yards, and he didn’t find the end zone. Roydell Williams was the top rusher for 38 yards and a touchdown. The offense is going to need to be a whole lot better if they want a chance to secure the win here. 

Boston College vs Florida State Prediction

This is more of a stay-away game at this point for me, but after what I saw with Florida State in the first game, I don’t trust them. Florida State struggled to slow down Haynes King, and they are going to struggle to slow down Castellanos here. Boston College’s offense is going to find success against Florida State, and that will be the difference here, as Boston College is going to find success. Back Boston College against the spread.
