I’m not sure what Florida State has done to be a double-digit favorite, but I’m not buying it. That opening week win over Alabama feels like forever ago. FSU has taken a back seat defensively and the offense hasn’t shown that explosiveness over the past two weeks.
Pittsburgh has a top-15 scoring offense and is second best in run defense. Pitt does things well to compete in a spot like this, and was in the thick of things in the two games it lost. Florida State is 2-5-1 ATS in its last 8 games as a double-digit favorite, and outright lost twice in this role last year. Feels like that win over Bama has changed the way people view the Noles.
