Florida vs Oklahoma Prediction
I’ll lean toward Florida but I’m probably not touching this one. The Gators got beaten up in a road loss to an excellent Georgia team last weekend, coughing up four turnovers alongside just 54 rushing yards and a 4-of-12 success rate on third downs. Florida gave up 19 first downs, 217 rush yards and 318 total yards defensively in the 19-point loss. All of that said, no one realistically thought Florida would contend with the Bulldogs very well. Still, that makes three losses in the last four games with fewer than 20 points scored in each of those defeats.
As for Oklahoma, they gave up 22 first downs, 521 yards and 8-of-14 on third downs in their loss to South Carolina. The Sooners did come up with three picks and benefitted from nine Gamecocks penalties but none of it mattered too much. The offense wasn’t too bad statistically with 24 first downs and 359 total yards, but Oklahoma also committed nine overall penalties themselves. The Sooners have alternated wins with losses all season long. Both these teams need a victory here and should match up pretty well together. It’ll be an entertaining game if nothing else.

Oklahoma Sooners Betting Preview
The Sooners have been a mixed bag so far this year. Oklahoma began alternating wins and losses right out of the gate, beating UTEP before a loss to Michigan and a win over New Mexico. The next four games were a loss to Georgia, a win over Texas, a loss to Kentucky and a win over Mississippi State. After all that Oklahoma was sitting at 4-3 over their first seven games of the season.
In the Halloween matchup with South Carolina, Oklahoma was in trouble early in the game. The Sooners gave up three touchdowns in the second quarter alone, limping to the locker room with a 28-10 deficit. Oklahoma got going a bit in the fourth quarter but by then it was too late and the team ended up with a 42-25 loss at home. QB John Mateer was 26-of-43 for 244 yards and two scores. Tory Blaylock had six carries for 32 yards and Ivan Carreon caught five balls for 88 yards and two touchdowns.
Florida Gators Betting Preview
Over on the Florida side, they got off to a great start this season. The Gators took wins in each of their first four games, beating Florida Atlantic, Campbell, Auburn and Ole Miss. Florida fell in the next two games however, dropping versus Missouri and South Carolina. The Gators would bounce back with a three-point win over Texas on October 17 for a 5-2 run through the first seven games of the year.
Matched up against Georgia last weekend the Gators gave up a touchdown in the first quarter and two more in the second on the way to a 24-0 halftime deficit. Florida finally found the scoreboard in the fourth quarter with a TD but it wasn’t nearly enough in a 27-8 loss. QB Tramell Jones was 18-of-25 for 172 yards and a pick. Jadan Baugh carried 17 times for 38 yards and Bailey Stockton had eight catches for 76 yards.
