The Marshall Thundering Herd come into their bowl game at 6-6 on the year. Cam Fancher has thrown for 2,162 yards, 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on 65.6% passing while Rasheen Ali has a team-high 1,043 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. DeMarcus Harris has a team-high 396 receiving yards while Caleb Coombs has a team-high 39 receptions for 310 receiving yards. Another six Marshall receivers have 200+ receiving yards and another three have 100+ receiving yards as well on the year. Eli Neal has a team-high 85 total tackles while Sam Burton has a team-high 6.5 sacks. Owen Porter/Elijah has a team-high 5 sacks this season. Just a worthwhile note, Cam Fancher and Caleb Coombs are both in the transfer portal and we have not received word whether or not star rb Rasheen Ali will play or not. I think it’s UTSA all day here and if Ali doesn’t suit up, that’ll be big for Marshall.

I’m on UTSA here. Even if those guys play for Marshall, which I’m 99% sure they won’t, I don’t see how Marshall keeps this game remotely close. UTSA came on strong over the final month of the season and I think that carries into the bowl game here. Give me UTSA.
