In the Western Kentucky matchup, Charlotte was down 35-0 going into halftime. Things didn’t get much better from there in a 59-7 defeat. QB Chris Reynolds managed 196 yards with a TD and a pick. Johnny Martin rushed for 85 yards on 16 carries.

Meanwhile, the Raiders are 15-5 ATS versus a team with a losing record and 6-2 ATS in their last eight after an ATS loss. MTSU is 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.
PICK: I’m going to take a stab on Middle Tennessee but I’m probably not touching this one. Neither team did well last week. The Raiders posted 420 yards of offense and 26 first downs in their defeat, but also notched a whopping five turnovers and 10 penalties for 83 yards.
As for Charlotte, they didn’t fare much better with 384 yards, 22 first downs, three turnovers and seven penalties. The Niners also gave up 592 yards and 25 first downs on the other side. There’s not much to like about this matchup overall, but I think the Raiders can cover.
