In this article, we will formulate a Navy vs. Tulane Prediction for this College Football Week 12 game on Saturday, November 16th, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.  Let’s take a look at a Navy Midshipmen vs Tulane Green Wave pick.

Tulane Has Confidence

Tulane has confidence heading into this game and they sit with an 8-2 record overall. In the last game, Tulane faced off against Temple and they scored 52 points on the way to the victory. The defense gave up only six points and that came in the 4th quarter. Darian Mensah has been getting better as the season has gone on and he completed 14 of his 21 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Makhi Hughes also finished with 19 carries for 153 yards. Tulane scores an average of 41 points per game and their offense gives up 18.7 points per game. Offensively, they are ranked 4th in college football, and their defense is ranked 18th.

Navy Bounced Back

Navy lost a couple of games, but they bounced back in a big way in the last game. Navy faced off against South Florida and they gave up only seven points on the way to the victory. Eli Heindreich had a strong game finishing with six carries for 84 yards and a touchdown. Against Notre Dame a couple of games ago the defense gave up 51 points and they are going to need the defense to be better here. Navy averages 35.67 points per game and their defense gives up 22.22 points per game on average. Their offense is ranked 20th in college football and their defense is ranked 46th.

Navy vs Tulane Prediction

This total is a little too high. I don’t believe Navy has any interest in getting into a shootout in this game, and that is going to be the difference here. Navy is going to run their triple-option offense and they are going to try and burn a ton of clock. Their defense is also going to make life tough on Tulane, and that will be the difference here as this game will stay under the total. Back the under to cash here.
