Nevada vs Georgia Southern Prediction
I’m going to take a stab at Nevada in this one. I won’t lie, I projected Nevada as the worst team in the Mountain West coming into the season, but the fact is that the Wolf Pack were competitive against SMU as massive underdogs and just beat a solid Sun Belt team in Troy and now face another Sun Belt foe in Georgia Southern that couldn’t stop a nosebleed against Boise State in the opener.
Without question, the Eagles have a potent offense, but if you can’t get any stops, it’s going to be hard to win a lot of football games this season. I think Nevada deserves a bit of credit here and I’ll give them a look at home in this one.
