On defense, Maverick Baranowski has 24 total tackles while Tyler Nubin has 2 interceptions and Danny Striggow and Kyler Baugh each have 2.5 sacks this season.

Wildcats Get Beat Down By Duke

The Northwestern Wildcats fell to 1-2 on the year after a 38-14 loss to Duke in their last matchup. Ben Bryant has thrown for 408 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 55.2% passing while Cam Porter has a team-high 147 rushing yards and 12 receptions to lead Northwestern’s receiving group. On defense, Bryce Gallagher has a team-high 37 total tackles while Anto Saka has 2 sacks. Northwestern’s defense as a unit has combined for 6 sacks and 3 interceptions this season.

I’m backing the under here. I normally think that Big Ten football is hard-hitting and low-scoring to begin with, but now we’re talking about two teams that have had trouble putting points on the board more often than not this season and even though neither’s been at their best for much of the year, I think this is going to be a bit of a defensive struggle. This could easily be one of those ugly 14-10 kind of games. Give me the under here in a 60-minute slopfest.
