Northwestern vs UL Monroe Prediction
Northwestern is the more talented team, but I’m still not laying double-digit chalk with a squad that struggles to produce offense. Northwestern has scored 17 or fewer points in 3 of its 4 games, and barely beat an awful UCLA squad. Northwestern is also 3-6 ATS in its last 9 games as a double-digit favorite.
UL Monroe obviously has issues of its own and has taken advantage of a soft schedule, but it can strop the run and did outright win two games last year as a double-digit underdog, for whatever that’s worth. Northwestern just hasn’t been the same since the Pat Fitzgerald glory days about a decade ago. It’s Monroe and the points or pass for me.
