The Old Dominion Monarchs meet the FAU Owls Saturday in Conference USA week 11 college football action from S.B. Ballard Stadium.

The FAU Owls come into this game on the heels of a 28-13 loss at the hands of Marshall in their last game. N’Kosi Perry has thrown for 2,043 yards, 16 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 59.3% passing while Johnny Ford leads FAU with 634 rushing yards and 4 TDs and Malcolm Davidson has 268 rushing yards as well this season. LaJohntay Weaver leads FAU with 42 grabs for 515 yards and 4 TDs while Brandon Robinson and Ja’Quan Burton both have 300+ receiving yards and another four FAU receivers have 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Jordan Helm leads FAU with 61 total tackles while Jaylen Joyner has 3 sacks and Teja Young, Zyon Gilbert, Romain Mungin and Korel Smith each have a pair of interceptions this season.

The Old Dominion Monarchs come into this game looking to add to their 47-24 rout of FIU in their last game. Hayden Wolff leads ODU with 899 passing yards, 4 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 61.3% passing while D.J. Mack Jr. has 859 passing yards, 5 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on 51.5% passing. Blake Watson leads Old Dominion with 709 rushing yards and 4 TDs and Elijah Davis also has 494 rushing yards and 4 scores. Zack Kuntz leads the Monarchs in receiving with 53 grabs for 550 yards and 4 TDs and Ali Jennings III has 495 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Jordan Young has a team-high 56 total tackles while R’Tarriun Johnson has 54 total tackles and a pair of INTs. Amorie Morrison also leads Old Dominion with 4 sacks on the year.

FAU is 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games and 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 8-1 in their last 9 games following a double-digit loss at home. Old Dominion is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games and 7-16 ATS in their last 23 conference games while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 games following a win.

This is a hard one to call as both have had their ups and downs this season and head-to-head, the Owls have owned Old Dominion but the last meetings was 2019 and a lot’s changed since then. I’m going to lean towards ODU here, simply because they’re at home and on home soil this season, they’ve beaten Louisiana Tech and lost by just one point against Buffalo. FAU has the better team but I think Old Dominion covers here.
