LaNorris Sellers threw for 159 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, while Raheim Sanders rushed for 54 yards and one score on 13 carries. 

South Carolina defeated Old Dominion by a score of 23-19 in their first game of the season, but they played much better last week to open up conference play. The South Carolina offense has scored 27 points per game with 140 passing yards and 130 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 12.5 points per game this season. The Gamecocks have gone 28.6% on third down and 2-2 on fourth down through two games. LSU came off of that heartbreaking loss to USC in week one and played a pretty poor game against an FCS team last week, but they need to play better as they open conference play here. LSU had no run game last week against Nicholls, which is a huge concern, but their passing game was very good.

South Carolina was able to pick up a nice win against Kentucky as an underdog last week and I am interested to see how Sellers looks against this LSU defense. I wasn’t impressed with LSU in either of their first two games and I can’t justify taking them to win by more than a touchdown on the road here. Take the Gamecocks with the points at home.
