Southern Miss vs Appalachian State Prediction 

Appalachian State was pretty impressive in their opening win against Charlotte, but they struggled with turnovers and barely got by Lindenwood last week. Southern Miss wasn’t overly impressive against Jackson State and Mississippi State blew by them at home during week one. I think these two teams are very evenly matched, but I trust Appalachian State’s offense more. The turnovers are definitely a concern, but I have faith they will clean that up. This should be a very entertaining game, but I am taking the Mountaineers to cover on the road.
