Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday.

I had some time this morning to put in a GPP lineup for FanDuel’s “Early Slate” that features 4 games and starts at 1:35pm.

On the mound, we are going to roll with Pittsburgh’s JT Brubaker in his home matchup agianst the Chicago Cubs. JT Brubaker is certainly not a household name, however, has pitched well for the Pirates this season and comes into this game with a 4.50 ERA and 9.90 K/9 ratio. Brubaker has had trouble going deep into games as he can at times struggle throwing strikes, however, he did through a season 85 pitches in his last outing agianst the Brewers and has picked up 12 K’s over his last 9 IP. The Cubs do have the 2nd highest implied scoring total on the slate, however, I think Brubaker could give them some trouble as the Cubs rank 28th in team strikeouts per game (9.72) and 22nd in terms of team batting average vs. RHP (.236).

With the salary we are saving on JT Brubaker, we are going with a full 4-man stack of Philadelphia Phillies in their prime matchup against the struggled Anibal Sanchez of the Washington Nationals. Sanchez has been hit hard all season and comes into this matchup with a 6.90 ERA & 1.70 WHIP. Sanchez has struggled against both LHB’s (.322 average/.970 OPS) & RHB’s (.329 average/1.013 OPS) and currently has a HR/9 ratio of 2.40.

For the Phillies, we are going to go with J.T. Realmuto, Didi Gregorius, Bryce Harper, and Rhys Hoskins who have a combined .417 average with 6 HR’s & 20 RBI’s in 60 AB’s vs. Sanchez.

Staying in this matchup, we are paying up for the Nationals Juan Soto is having another monster season as he comes into this game with a .344 average with 11 HR’s. Soto has posted a 1.163 OPS vs. RHP this season and has good career numbers agianst Zach Eflin (5 for 12).

Rounding out our team, we are going with a 3-man stack of New York Yankees in their match-up agianst Robert Gsellman. Gsellman has not been anything special this season, posting a 5.19 ERA & 2.08 HR/9 ratio. Gsellman is allowing opponents to post a .324 average & .997 OPS on the season and has really struggled against LHB’s, allowing them to hit .389 agianst him.

For the Yankees, we are going to go with DJ LeMahieu, Gio Urshela, & Clint Frazier.

Good Luck!
