The first big Saturday of college football is here and the 12:00 PM ET DraftKings slate has 13 games on it.

Because of the DraftKings rules, I will give out six of the eight players to fill your lineup. I will also offer a few different flex options that make sense to round out a winning lineup.

If there is late injury news, I will be posting updates on my Twitter (Shanemickle.)

Quarterback: Desmond Ridder ($8,200) – Desmond Ridder is the second most expensive quarterback on the slate, but I’m not sure how you pass up on him. Ridder is a threat with his arm and legs, and he is going to find plenty of success moving the ball in this game.

Running Back: Chez Mellusi ($5,000) – Chez Mellusi transferred from Clemson and quickly earned the starting job for the Wisconsin Badgers. Wisconsin is a run-first team, and that means plenty of carries for Mellusi.

Running Back: CJ Verdell ($6,000) – CJ Verdell might be splitting carries in this game for the Oregon Ducks, but with how bad Fresno State is against the run, there still be plenty of opportunities.

Wide Receiver: Jordan Whittington ($5,000) – Jordan Whittington works out of the slot for the Texas Longhorns, and should be in line for a big game. In two of the last four games, Whittington has had at least 14 fantasy points, and he will have an even bigger role this season.

Wide Receiver: Marvin Mims ($7.700) – Marvin Mims had a breakout season for the Oklahoma Sooners last year, and he is going to have a big game in this one. The only real concern is this could be a blowout which might hurt the production.

Wide Receiver: Peyton Hendershot ($4,200) – Peyton Hendershot is technically a tight end, but he should still have a big game against Iowa. The Hawkeyes want to keep everything close, and that is going to mean a lot of short passes for Indiana.

Flex Plays: With Draftkings not allowing full lineups, let’s look at some other options to fill the rest of your lineup with the $12,900 still available. Jalen Cooper ($6,800), David Bell ($7,800), Isaac Ruoss ($4,300), Jerome Ford ($7,000) Taulia Tagovailoa ($7,200).
