Where will the 2025 BMW PGA Championship be played?
The 2025 BMW PGA Championship will be played at the Wentworth Club (West Course) in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. The golf course is a par 73 that measures approximately 7,267 yards.
Billy Horschel won the 2024 BMW PGA Championship with a cumulative four round score of 20 under par.
Will the BMW PGA Championship have a traditional cut after two rounds?
The 2025 BMW PGA Championship will have a field of 144 competitors to start the tournament on Thursday. This event will have a cut after the completion of the first two rounds. The top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut.

Tommy Fleetwood $10,200
Tommy Fleetwood arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top four finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive win at the 2025 Tour Championship last month.
Fleetwood also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. Fleetwood is currently ranked second in overall strokes gained (1.629),fourth in strokes gained tee to green (1.225), fifth in strokes gained approach (0.711), sixth in par four scoring average (3.96) and third in overall scoring average (69.35) on the PGA Tour.
It should also be noted that Tommy Fleetwood has played well at the Wentworth Club in the past. More specifically, Fleetwood finished sixth at the 2023 BMW PGA Championship.
Shane Lowry $9,000
The talented Irishman has compiled two top 15 finishes in his last three events played (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a 15th place result at last week’s 2025 Irish Open.
Due to Shane Lowry’s quality finish at the 2025 Irish Open, I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Lowry fared relative to the field.
Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Irish Open, in relation to the field, Shane Lowry ranked sixth in strokes gained approach (1.95), second in strokes gained tee to green (3.23), seventh in strokes gained off the tee (1.20) and 16th in total strokes gained (1.95).
Similar to Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry has played well at the BMW PGA Championship previously. Lowry won the 2023 BMW PGA Championship.
Joakim Lagergren $7,100
