Entering this afternoon’s final game of the regular season, the New York Knicks are currently ranked third in the Eastern Conference playoff standings. Having stated that, a big reason why the Knicks have played relatively consistent quality basketball this season is New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson.

Let’s dive into a recent sample size of Brunson’s recent statistical data to get a better idea of his recent performance on the basketball court. In his last three games played, Brunson has averaged a robust 38 points, 2 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 0.7 steals a game.

Later today, Jalen Brunson draws a Chicago Bulls defense that has had significant problems with allowing fantasy points to opposing point guards in the last month. In the last 30 games played in the NBA, the Chicago Bulls are ranked dead last (30th) in total Draftkings points allowed a game (56.1) to the point guard position.

I mentioned earlier in this article that this afternoon’s game will be the last game of the New York Knicks regular season. The Knicks absolutely need to win this game to secure the third seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Having stated, I fully expect Jalen Brunson to post outstanding fantasy numbers versus this vulnerable Bulls defense later today.

Since the beginning of April, the Knicks have played seven games. In those seven games just noted, Donte DiVincenzo has averaged an impressive 24.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1.5 steals a game. It has to be said, those are some quality offensive numbers from the Knicks shooting guard.

Similar to Jalen Brunson, Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo draws a Chicago Bulls defense that is clearly having issues with allowing fantasy points to the shooting guard position.

In the last 30 games played in the NBA, the Chicago Bulls Detroit Pistons are ranked a rather low 20th in total Draftkings points (43.1) allowed a game to the shooting guard position.
