Boston Celtics power forward Jayson Tatum arrives at tonight’s game with the Charlotte Hornets playing outstanding basketball from a statistical perspective. In 74 games played this season, Tatum has averaged 27.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1 steal a game.

Additionally, I like Tatum’s matchup tonight. Why? Jayson Tatum will be facing a Charlotte Hornets defense that has certainly had issues containing power forwards recently. In the last 30 games played in the NBA, the Charlotte Hornets are ranked 21st in total Draftkings points allowed a game (50.42) to the power forward position.

For the reasons just indicated above, Boston Celtics power forward Jayson Tatum will be my captain for this one game DFS slate.

Flex Plays

Miles Bridges $8,600

Since the beginning of March, the Charlotte Hornets have played 15 games. In those 15 games just mentioned, Charlotte Hornets forward Mile Bridges has averaged 20.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a game. It has to be said, those are some nice offensive numbers from the Hornets forward.

I fully expect Bridges to continue his outstanding play versus the Boston Celtics later today.

Vasilije Micic $6,400

Two months ago, talented Hornets point guard LaMello Ball suffered an injury in a game with the Houston Rockets. Unfortunately for the Hornets, Ball has been ruled out for the remainder of the regular season.

The loss of LaMello Ball has been a big blow to the Charlotte offense. Who has benefited the most from Ball’s absence from the lineup the last two months? For me, the answer to that question is Hornets point guard Vasilije Micic.

Let’s dive into a recent sample size of Micic’s recent statistical data to get a better idea of his recent performance on the basketball court. In the Charlotte Hornets last three games played, Micic has averaged 10.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 11 assists, and 1.7 steals a game.
