Draftkings Maybank Championship Second Round Picks 10/30/25

Later today, the LPGA presents Draftkings golf fans with the second round of the 2025 Maybank Championship. Let’s take a look at the second round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.

Before I discuss my Draftkings second round picks for this week’s event let’s review where the 2025 Maybank Championship will be played.

Where will the Maybank Championship be played?

The 2025 Maybank Championship will be played at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (West Course) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This track is a par 72 that measures approximately 6,246 yards.

Ruoning Yin won the 2024 Maybank Championship with a four round cumulative score of 23 under par.

Will the Maybank Championship have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The Maybank Championship will have a limited field of 78 competitors to start the tournament. This event will not have a traditional cut after the completion of the first two rounds. All 78 golfers will play in all four rounds.

Draftkings Second Round Picks

Nasa Hataoka $9,800

Nasa Hataoka arrives at this week’s event on the heels of five consecutive top 18 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2025 BMW Ladies Championship two weeks ago.

Nasa Hataoka certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Hataoka is currently ranked 11th in strokes gained tee to green (1.20), 19th in strokes gained approach (0.62), 15th in driving accuracy (78.28%), 23rd in GIR (greens in regulation-72.49%), 15th in total birdies made (276) and 14th in overall strokes gained (1.46) on the LPGA Tour.

Hye Jin Choi $10,000

Hye Jin Choi has amassed two top 11 finishes in her last three events played on the LPGA Tour, including an 11th place result at the 2025 Buick LPGA Shanghai Championship earlier this month.

Choi is currently ranked 12th in strokes gained putting (0.73), 20th in strokes gained off the tee (0.55), sixth in GIR (greens in regulation-75.15%) and sixth in strokes gained total (1.69), and seventh in overall scoring average (70.15) on the LPGA Tour.

It is noteworthy that Hye Jin Choi has played well at this event in the past. Choi finished sixth at the 2024 Maybank Championship.

Hae Ran Ryu $8,100

Hae Ran Ryu has tallied three top 28 finishes in her last six events played on the LPGA Tour, including a seventh-place result at the 2025 Standard Portland Classic in August.

Hae Ran Ryu certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Ryu is currently ranked second in strokes gained tee to green (1.95), fifth in strokes gained off the tee (0.76), first in strokes gained approach (1.22), second in GIR (greens in regulation-76.43%) and 22nd in overall strokes gained (1.22) on the LPGA Tour.

Hannah Green $7,900

The talented Australian has compiled two top 28 finishes in her last three tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including a fifth place result at the 2025 BMW Ladies Championship. Green also finished sixth at the 2025 Maybank Championship.

Upon the completion of yesterday’s first round of the 2025 Maybank Championship, Hannah Green is currently tied for fourth place with a score of six under par.

Lindy Duncan $7,700

Lindy Duncan has accumulated three top 18 finishes in her last four events played on the LPGA Tour, including a seventh place result at the 2025 Buick LPGA Shanghai Championship.

Jenny Bae $7,200

Two weeks ago, Jenny Bae fired a first round 65 at the 2025 Buick LPGA Shanghai Championship on her way to an eventual fourth place finish.
