This week, the DP World Tour presents Draftkings golf fans with the 2025 Qatar Masters. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a DFS perspective.
Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf courses the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 Qatar Masters.
Where will the Qatar Masters be played?
The 2025 Qatar Masters will be played at the Doha Golf Club in Doha, Qatar. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,508 yards.
Rikuya Hoshino won the 2024 Qatar Masters with a four round cumulative score of 14 under par.
Qatar Masters Key Player Statistics
- Strokes Gained: Approach
- GIR (greens in regulation)
- Strokes Gained: Tee to Green
- Birdie or Better Percentage
- Strokes Gained: Par Fives
- Bogey Avoidance
- Proximity to the Hole
I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups.
Qatar Masters Draftkings Picks
Laurie Canter $10,600
The talented Englishman arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top three finishes on the DP World Tour, including a win at the 2025 Bahrain Championship last week.
Additionally, Canter has posted a quality result at the Doha Golf Club in the past. Canter finished 12th at the 2022 Qatar Masters.
Jorge Campillo $9,600
Jorge Campillo has accumulated four top 19 finishes in his last eight tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including a second-place result at the 2024 Andalucía Masters in October. Campillo won the 2020 Qatar Masters.
Julien Guerrier $9,000
Julien Guerrier has tallied four top 21 finishes in his last five events played on the DP World Tour, including a sixth-place result at the 2024 Nedbank Challenge in November.
Scott Jamieson $8,300
Scott Jamieson has compiled three top 18 finishes in his last four events played on the DP World Tour, including an eighth-place result 2025 Ras Al Khaimah Championship two weeks ago.
Scott Jamieson is currently ranked seventh in strokes gained approach (0.70), 19th in GIR (greens in regulation-69.93%) and 20th in bogey avoidance per round (2.44) on the DP World Tour.
In summary, I fully expect Scott Jamieson to continue his outstanding play at this week’s 2025 Qatar Masters.
Ugo Coussaud $7,800
Ugo Coussaud has amassed two top 16 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including a 15th result at the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Championship in December.
Similar to Julien Guerrier and Jorge Campillo, Ugo Coussaud has played well at this week’s DP World Tour previously. Coussaud finished second at the 2024 Qatar Masters.
Pablo Larrazabal $7,400
Last week, Pablo Larrazabal fired a first round 66 at the 2025 Bahrain Championship en route to an impressive second place finish.
Pablo Larrazabal certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2016, Larrazabal has played this week’s DP World Tour nine times. In those nine tournaments just mentioned, Larrazabal amassed seven top 27 finishes, including a fifth-place result at the 2022 Qatar Masters.
Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s DP World Tour event (Draftkings price noted): Martin Couvra $7,100: Marcus Armitage $7,300: Daniel Brown $7,700: Sam Bairstow $8,700: Marcel Schneider $7,100.
