Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis has certainly been a key contributor to this Lakers team in 2024. Having stated that, how has Davis been playing recently?

Since the beginning of April, the Lakers have played four games. In those four games just noted, Anthony Davis has averaged an impressive 20.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.3 blocks and 1.8 steals a game. It has to be said, those are some outstanding offensive numbers from the Lakers center.

Additionally, I like Anthony Davis’s matchup tonight. Why? Davis will be facing a Golden State Warriors defense that has had issues containing opposing centers recently. In the last 30 games played in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors are ranked a rather low 20th in total Draftkings points allowed a game (57.4) to the center position.

There is no doubt in my mind that Anthony Davis will post quality fantasy numbers versus this vulnerable Golden State Warriors defense later today.

Stephen Curry $8,800

Talented Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry arrives at tonight’s game with the Los Angeles Lakers playing outstanding basketball from a statistical perspective. In 77 games played this season, Stephen Curry has averaged 26.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 0.7 steals a game.

Similar to Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry draws a Los Angeles Lakers defense that is having trouble allowing fantasy points to the point guard position.

In the last 30 games played in the NBA, the Lakers are ranked 30th in total Draftkings points (55.2) allowed a game to the point guard position. Keep in mind that the NBA has a total of 30 teams in the entire league. That means the Lakers are dead last in the NBA guarding opposing point guards.
