How are these two teams playing entering tonight’s MLB game? The San Francisco Giants arrive at the first game of this three-game series with the Athletics playing below average baseball. The Giants have lost five of the team’s last six games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including an 8-7 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks two days ago.
Similar to the San Francisco Giants, the Athletics are not playing well entering the opening game of this interleague series. More specifically, the Athletics have lost six of the team’s last eight games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including an embarrassing 12-2 loss to the New York Yankees last week.
Now that we have determined how both of these Major League Baseball teams are currently playing let’s shift our focus to this evening’s contest. Veteran outfielder Heliot Ramos has certainly been playing outstanding baseball for the San Francisco Giants this season. Let’s examine Ramos’s recent game data to better shed light on my previous statement.
In the 43 games that first baseman Heliot Ramos has played for the San Francisco Giants in the 2025 MLB regular season, Ramos has compiled a robust .290 batting average, seven home runs, 14 walks, 22 RBIs (runs batted in), 29 runs scored, a .353 OBP (On-Base Percentage) and a .838 OPS (On-Base Plus Slugging). Clearly, Heliot Ramos is swinging the bat at a high-level entering tonight’s MLB game.
More recently, in the San Francisco Giants 3-2 win over the Texas Rangers last month, Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos certainly played at a high level. Let me be more specific. In the Giants win over the Rangers, Ramos tallied two hits, one RBI, two runs scored and one stolen base. It should also be mentioned that in the Giants defeat of the Texas Rangers, Ramos amassed 21.4 FanDuel points.
In my view, Heliot Ramos is the most likely player to accumulate the most FanDuel points in this MLB game. With that said, I am rolling with San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos at the MVP position for this one game MLB DFS slate.
